Steve Baskis

Specialist Steven C. Baskis served as an infantryman with the United States Army during the operation Iraqi freedom conflict. It was in May 2008, in the heart of Baghdad, Iraq where Steve sustained life threatening wounds that changed his life forever. Over the past decade Steve has vigorously pursued his goals, dreams and passions without falter. Strength, resilience and courage is central in his message, always reminding listeners that these are essential core values that we all must Forge. Steve has accomplished many physical feats with out sight and leads a foundation that creates awareness for the blind & visually impaired community. Steve will tell you “Moving is Living” and this is very apparent when you read about his life pursuits.
